About Meera Belle
Meera Belle trained as a soprano at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music (UK) after years as a pop singer. She developed a love for vocal pedagogy and began teaching in tandem with her performing.
Meera put together The Belles vintage vocal trio, which made the
semi-finals of Australia's Got Talent in 2010. She then founded and currently directs The Starr Sisters, who were the first Australasian group to be invited to perform at the Tzar Jazz Festival in Sochi, Russia. The Starr Sisters frequently perform their Cabaret, "An Accidental Night with The Starrs", with the 17-piece, Regent Street Big Band, to delighted swing audiences all over Sydney and recently debuted with the Royal Australian Air Force Band at the 37th Squadrons 75th Anniversary Ball.
The Starrs are shortly going to feature in the ABC TV Series, "Fallout".
Meera currently performs in her one-woman show "Close To You: A Salute To Karen Carpenter" and her own cabaret evenings, by arrangement.
An exciting new venture is The Kit Kat Club! This edgy and hilarious cabaret series is the result of collaborating with the Greater Western Sydney Dance Academy full-time dance students and selected Pitch Perfect Vocal Studio (PPVS)Senior Singers in cabaret presentations. Details will be posted as soon as possible.
Bella Musica Entertainment began PPVS as one small teaching studio which has evolved into a boutique junior and senior singing school developing its own shows, courses, workshops, and performance opportunities.
